Obermöschach: Clofers Nature Chalets

From pasture to residential quality - 2020 to 2023

In 2020, Clofers started the development of Nature Chalets Obermöschach, a carefully designed chalet project on the outskirts of Hermagor - in the middle of Austria's first official Slow Food region. What began as an abandoned agricultural plot with a partially burned-out farmhouse was transformed by Clofers into high-quality building land.

This transformation required a complex process of rezoning, infrastructure development and landscape incorporation. Clofers fulfilled the role of independent developer in this process, supervised the design and permitting process and monitored quality during construction.

21 chalets in harmony with the landscape

For the execution of the project, Clofers deliberately chose a stable and experienced contractor from the region, with whom it had previously worked successfully. The construction, which turned out to be more extensive than initially planned, was realized with great care and skill and completed in 2023.

The result: a park of 21 high-quality chalets, built in terraces along the mountain flank, with unobstructed views of the valley and optimal light. The homes are constructed in sustainable materials, with attention to aesthetics, comfort and privacy.

The offer consists of detached and attached chalets, some of which can be interconnected - ideal for families or larger travel groups.

Sold to investors - managed by Clofers
All 21 homes have been sold to private investors who have signed long-term leases through Clofers. Since completion in 2023, Clofers has been handling the entire operation, including:

• Operational and financial reporting to owners
